India Client Visited NEWINDU Office
On November 25, 2024, it was a pleasure to welcome two clients from India to the NEWINDU office for a visit. The day before, the clients had proactively reached out to me, inquiring about our company’s address and informing me that they had arrived in Shanghai. I gladly invited them to visit our office the following day to explore our offerings in more detail.
When they arrived, I started with a brief tour of our office, introducing them to our team and explaining our operations. After this, we sat down to review the quotes I had previously prepared for them. However, the clients expressed concerns about the pricing of new machines, mentioning that it was beyond their budget. They then asked about the availability of used equipment, which we had also discussed in prior communications.
To address their needs, I quickly arranged a factory visit in the afternoon, where they could inspect second-hand excavators. At the factory, they carefully evaluated the machines and were generally satisfied with their condition and performance. However, when it came to pricing, they found the offered rates still higher than they had hoped. I provided a reasonable discount to try and bridge the gap, but they remained hesitant about proceeding.
Although no final decision has been made yet, I am actively following up with the clients to find a solution that meets their expectations while aligning with our offerings. Their interest and engagement are promising, and I am optimistic that with further discussions, we will reach a mutually beneficial agreement. Moments like these remind me of the importance of persistence and adaptability in international trade.
