According to data released by the China Construction Machinery Industry Association, the construction machinery sector continued its upward momentum in November 2025, with excavators and loaders both recording double-digit year-on-year growth. Robust domestic demand and strong export performance contributed to the sustained expansion of the industry.
Excavators
In November 2025, major excavator manufacturers sold 20,027 units, representing a 13.9% year-on-year increase.
Domestic sales: 9,842 units, up 9.11%
Exports: 10,185 units, up 18.8%
From January to November 2025, total excavator sales reached 212,162 units, a 16.7% increase from the previous year.
Domestic market: 108,187 units, up 18.6%
Export market: 103,975 units, up 14.9%
In November, manufacturers also sold 19 electric excavators, including:
Below 6 tons: 5 units
6–10 tons: 2 units
10–18.5 tons: 1 unit
18.5–28.5 tons: 11 units
Loaders
Major loader manufacturers sold 11,419 units in November 2025, marking a 32.1% year-on-year increase.
Domestic sales: 5,671 units, up 29.4%
Exports: 5,748 units, up 34.8%
From January to November 2025, total loader sales reached 115,831 units, up 17.2% year-on-year.
Domestic market: 61,039 units, up 22.5%
Export market: 54,792 units, up 11.9%
Electric loader sales in November totaled 2,935 units, including:
Below 3 tons: 38 units
3 tons: 181 units
4 tons: 7 units
5 tons: 1,738 units
6 tons: 823 units
7 tons: 138 units
8 tons: 3 units
Above 8 tons: 4 units
