EasyControl Vice President Lin Qiao noted that true unmanned operation requires a platform designed from the ground up with autonomous logic, system redundancy, and control architecture as its foundation. The EQ100E fundamentally resolves the contradictions that traditionally limit autonomous haulage performance in complex mining environments.
The EQ100E is engineered around four core performance pillars—accurate perception, high-speed operation, reliable braking, and stable maneuvering. Through the integration of:
Distributed electric drive architecture
Zero-carbon pure electric propulsion
Full-domain autonomous operation system
Its system platform features:
All-terrain, all-weather perception suite
Megawatt-level continuous electric drive output
Hydraulic redundant braking system
Intelligent torque-vectoring control
Industry Background and Strategic Cooperation
As the pioneer of China’s rigid wide-body off-highway dump trucks, TONLY exports to more than 50 countries. By September 2025, its autonomous haulage fleet in service exceeded 2,000 units. EasyControl, recognized as a national “Little Giant” specialized enterprise and co-builder of a National Mine Safety Administration key laboratory, has deployed benchmark full-mine autonomous haulage projects and some of the world's largest single-site autonomous fleets.
Since forming their strategic partnership in 2019, TONLY and EasyControl have continuously driven innovation in autonomous mining solutions. The launch of the EQ100E marks another landmark achievement in their shared mission to accelerate digitalization and intelligent transformation across the mining sector.
Looking Ahead
TONLY will continue collaborating with EasyControl and additional partners to advance key technologies and industry standards. Together, they aim to shift mine haulage from isolated autonomous applications to fully integrated autonomous systems, supporting safer, greener, and more efficient high-quality development across the global mining industry.
