On 11th January 2024, a strategic signing ceremony was held in Urumqi, Xinjiang for the purchase of 20 units of Hyundai 125-ton super-large excavators. The delivery ceremony for the first unit also took place on the same day.
The Hyundai R1250-9 super-large excavator that was contracted and delivered is a mature model with stable quality and superior performance. It has undergone years of construction verification and has been exported to Russia, Indonesia, Brazil, and other countries, receiving wide praise from customers.
On behalf of the manufacturer, Executive Choi Tae-geun welcomed the VIP customers of the super large digging who came to participate in the activity and introduced the development changes of HD Hyundai enterprise to the participants. President of Hyundai Construction Machinery (China), President Choi emphasised that the super large digging is an important strategic model for Hyundai Construction Machinery. The company's focus will be on improving quality and service to enhance the customer experience and value of their products.
Mr. Gu Yu, the chairman of Xinjiang Junchi, stated that the R1250-9 excavator has excellent performance in construction verification in Xinjiang and has been affirmed by customers. It is believed that the success of this strategic signing and the delivery of the first equipment will lay a good foundation for Hyundai's 100 tons or more super-large excavators to open up the Xinjiang market.

It is reported that Hyundai has already had 15 years of history and experience in the production of oversized digging. The products have been exported to many countries in Europe, America and Southeast Asia to participate in local mine construction. The strategic signing of 20 units and the delivery of the first unit is the first time for R1250-9 to land in China. We believe that R1250-9 will prove with time that it is a high-quality, high-performance, trustworthy and excellent equipment.
