In response to the need for larger machines for larger operations, Volvo has lanunched two excavators, the EC530E and EC550E, to the booming market.
According to the press, the EC550E and EC530E configurations introduced by Volvo are basically the same, with the differences being in the track and undercarriage. The EC530E has the same body width as the EC480E, while the EC550E is a little wider, with the result that the 550E has more lifting power.
